A multi-day silent retreat in the Christian Centering Prayer tradition  on Oahu, Hawaii. gGather with local contemplative community members to give each other the gift of a quiet retreat. If you have an established Centering Prayer practice, you are welcome to join us. This retreat is designed to deepen your established practice

Please consider whether you have the:

1. Time:  August 5-9, 2025

2. Physical well-being: 

   1. health to manage stairs, and 

   2. stamina to maintain the group schedule. 

3. Funds (scholarships may be available):  

   1. $625 to cover lodging, meeting room, and food, or 

   2. $150 to attend as a commuter with lunches included.

We plan to offer vegetarian options during the meals.  You may have to make your own accommodations if you have dietary restrictions. 

The format of this retreat includes:

• up to four hours of Centering Prayer per day,

• Spiritual Journey videos from Father Thomas Keating’s teachings,

• private talks with companions,

• Lectio Divina, 

• Time for solitude and walks,

• Opportunity for Centering Prayer as 11th Step Practice.

A regular daily practice of the Centering Prayer method is recommended - the retreat is designed to deepen your established practice.

Please provide a deposit of at least $100 to reserve your room. 

Full payment will be required by July 10, 2024.

Cancellations after July 10th may incur deduction from your payment of whatever charges are incurred resulting from the late cancellation.

Late registrations are accepted when space is available. Refundable airfare is recommended if you are joining us from a neighbor island in case we need to cancel.
